Students who do not have access to technology or having difficulties with technology can pick up hard copies of work on Thursday, April 16th from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Needles High School office tardy window. If you have work to drop off, we can take it at this time as well.
Students may drop off their classwork at the NUSD District Office located at 1900 Erin Drive. Drop off boxes will be located at the back door ( walk up the ramp) of the district office on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of each week from 8:30 AM until 1:30 PM. Please be sure to put your name on ALL the papers that you turn into the boxes. Boxes are labeled by school sites.

As of April 7th, it is now MANDATORY to wear a face mask anytime one leaves their home. Face masks can be made at home with clothes, towels, pillow cases, bags with no-sew and sewing methods! See the information on the attached link from the CDC.
Colorado River Medical Center will be having FREE sports physicals on Friday, July 13th, 2018 from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Student physical forms will be available at the time of the event.
Homecoming will be on Friday, October 12th, 2018. NHS will hosting Lake Mead from Las Vegas.
Sixty students were honored by the community June 1, as the 112th commencement exercises for Needles High School packed the stands of Branigan Field.
Knocking down nearly $2 million in scholarship commitments over four years, including several very lucrative bonuses for joining the U.S. Armed Forces, were 49 regular graduates, 10 with the educational training center and one from the district’s community day school. Of the 60, an even two dozen were honor students with 13 named California Scholarship Federation Life Members.
Dillon Darrow, Ezrah Ponce and Regan Paget gave valedictory addresses. Principal Amy Avila asked veterans and active duty military to stand and be recognized before giving her customary address. Paget presented the class gift, a giant wall-mounted American flag.

For the 2017/2018 school year, Needles High School students will be dismissed at 2:55 PM and on Early Release Wednesdays they will be dismissed at 12:30 PM.
