Needles High School is committed to doing our best to follow the tradition of the underpass painting. We are working closely with the City of Needles and they are working with BNSF to get all requirements in place so the tradition may continue. Seniors will have an opportunity to purchase their specific spot(s) on Tuesday, August 4th, at the high school auditorium starting 11:00 AM. Painting will begin on Monday, August 10th. Additional information will be coming out as we get closer to the dates. Starting on Wednesday, June 24th, through Thursday, June 25th, seniors can pick up a map of the underpass which will outline the spots available for purchase along with a set of rules to be followed by students and parents while participating in the painting of the underpass. Please contact Needles High School for any additional questions (760) 326-2191.
We are still waiting on the arrival of our yearbooks. We have been told they have gone to printing and will be shipped out soon. Once they arrive, we will notify students and parents of the dates and times available for pick-up. Thank you for your patience.
Drive through graduation ceremonies have been set for the week of May 26th. If you have not been contacted by Mrs. Avila or Mrs. Armijo regarding your specific date and time, please contact Needles High School at 760-326-2191. Thank you and stay well.
There is a current delay in the arrival of our yearbooks due to COVID-19. At this point in time we do not have a date of delivery date of when they will arrive. We will send out an all call once we receive them and students who have not purchased a yearbook will have an opportunity to do so. We will only be accepting cash payments and the cost of the yearbook is $60.
Seniors will be able to pick up their graduation yard signs on Monday, May 18th at 10:00 AM in front of Needles High School office. The signs will be placed 6-feet apart to allow for each senior to take a photo before taking their sign home. We are asking that students and parents wear a face mask when picking up signs. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you.
On Friday, May 29th, at 7:00 PM, Needles High School will be holding a drive through graduation ceremony at Branigan Field for the Class of 2020 .
